Drone Training - Get hands on

Have you just bought a drone and want to learn how not to crash it? Or have you been on a drone training course but you didn’t do any hands on flying? Perhaps you’ve got your A2 Cof C or GVC but you’re not sure how to take it to the next level.

Eastwood Drones pilots use drones for broadcast, film making and industrial use such as agriculture, inspections and thermal surveys. We’ve delivered workshops for Jessopps and DJI and have flown drones at major sporting events, on feature films, for TV and commercials. We do drone inspections and deliver 3D models to our industrial clients.

Our range of courses are for everyone, whether you are a complete beginner, someone looking to build confidence or enhance your knowledge and skill level. What makes us different is our courses are practical, we will take you out flying to put into practise what you learn in the classroom.

We’ve totally revamped our course offering for 2025. We have developed five courses that cover all the aspects of flying drones and working in the drone industry. We will be running a few weekends of just Drone Flying 1 & 2 and we will run two full weeks in March and October of the full five day course. If our filming schedule allows we may run the odd day throughout the year, sign up to our email list to be notified of ad-hoc dates.
