DRONE TRAINING
Flying Drones 1 & 2
Location: North East Wales
Duration: 2 days
Cost: £650 inc VAT
Level: Beginner / Intermediate / Currently going through A2 CofC or GVC
Details: Hosted from our small village in beautiful North East Wales, a fifteen minutes drive from Wrexham, this two day course will teach you everything you need to know to confidently fly drones. We will cover the ins and outs of how they work and how best to operate them so you look after your investment whilst still getting really exciting shots. This is a practical course where you will get hands on flying time with our experienced pilots.
This is day 1 and 2 of our five day masterclass course.
Day 1 will cover getting hands on with drones and beginning confidence flying. We also teach techniques on how to avoid crashing your drone
Day 2 builds on day 1 with more hands on experience and we start looking at how to control your drone to get the kinds of shots that you see on TV or how to take photos for surveys and inspection.
There will be lots of opportunities to ask questions and if you are getting ready to sit your practical flying exam for your GVC qualification we will teach you everything you need to do to pass with flying colours.
Over the two days we will cover how to look after your equipment, how to set up cameras for filming and photography and there will be sessions teaching you what it’s like to work in the drone industry on events like the World Rally Championship, film and TV sets and using drones in industry.
We aim for 50% classroom and 50% flying. We encourage you to bring your own drone but we will have a selection of our own fleet for you to try out too. We might even get the FPV racers out!
